Everything the SHHS PTCO does is ultimately in support of our remarkable students. Through our events, we foster staff, parent and community involvement to ensure the success of our amazing SHHS students. Please check out our volunteer page to signup and get involved. Here are a few events we participate in over the school year:
PTCO supports Student Government in hosting this dance by providing parent volunteers to work the food, water and coat check tables as well as soliciting donations for food items.
The Fall Craft Fair is typically the first Saturday in November at Smoky Hill High School. There are over 210 crafters who participate in this event. In appreciation for everything the staff does at Smoky Hill High School, the PTCO hosts a Staff Appreciation Luncheon. We solicit donations from parents to make this event special.
The Winter Wish Week/Winter Formal Dance will be held in January. PTCO supports Student Government in hosting this dance by providing parent volunteers to work the food, water and coat check tables as well as soliciting donations for food items.

After Prom is the “party” after the formal Prom dance. The goal of After Prom is to provide a fun, safe, sober environment for the students and their guests. PTCO sponsors After Prom and is responsible for coordinating and funding the event.
