PTCO supports Student Government in hosting this dance by providing parent volunteers to work the food, water and coat check tables as well as soliciting donations for food items.
Fall Craft Fair
The Fall Craft Fair is typically the first Saturday in November at Smoky Hill High School. There are over 210 crafters who participate in this event. PTCO is responsible for the concessions and vendor meals during this event.
Holiday Staff Luncheon
In appreciation for everything the staff does at Smoky Hill High School, the PTCO hosts a Holiday Staff Luncheon. We solicit donations from parents to make this event special.
Teacher of the Year
Each year two teachers are selected to represent Smoky Hill High School in the Colorado Teacher Awards program. Select teachers throughout the Cherry Creek School District are honored at events in March and May. PTCO complies a notebook honoring and celebrating the contributions the selected teachers have made to the community, Smoky Hill High School and Cherry Creek Schools.
The Winter Wish Week/Winter Formal Dance is held in winter in January or February. PTCO supports Student Government in hosting this dance by providing parent volunteers to work the food, water and coat check tables as well as soliciting donations for food items.
After Prom is the “party” after the formal Prom dance. The goal of After Prom is to provide a fun, safe, sober environment for the students and their guests. PTCO sponsors After Prom and is responsible for coordinating and funding the event.
